Miracle Baby
A month ago I had the honour of photographing an amazing woman and mom's Maternity Shoot and more recently newborn shoot. Her story has inspired me to write this.
This woman runs a childrens home in Pietermaritzburg called Thandi House. Her her husband and their son gave up their lives and home to take in children that were no longer wanted or safe in there living enviroments. She saw a need and tried to make a change in someones life. She lives by the motto "You cant change ther world, but you can, change the town you live in."
After they had their son they took in many children who they got back into good health,they also adopted a little girl who inspired the name of the childrens home, but what they craved most was another child of their own. After years of trying and heart break, she finally found out she was pregnant. She was so excited that her prayers had been answered, but soon found out that things were not going as planned.
She went into pre-term labour after spending many days in and out of hospital and being on every medication they could give her to give her a few more days, she kept saying over and over just have to get to 32 weeks. Then 32 weeks came and went and everyone was so excited.
Her beautiful little girl came into this world perfect and tiny and i had the honour of taking her newborn pictures.
Beautiful mom and beautiful little girl who has been brought into a world where her parents are determined to make a difference.
